Privacy policy

Last updated 5 November 2026

In short: we collect your email address only to tell you when Veil launches and about our founding-member offer. We never sell it, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

Peauprivée (“we”, “us”) is an Australian skincare brand. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can contact us at peauprivee@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, which is the only thing the form asks for. If you email us, we also keep that correspondence. Like most websites, our host and form provider may automatically log basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, for security and to keep the site running.

Why we collect it

We won’t use your email for anything unrelated to Veil and the launch without asking you first.

Who we share it with

This website and its waitlist form are hosted by Netlify, which stores your submission on our behalf. Netlify is based in the United States, so your email address may be held outside Australia. We only use providers that keep information secure, and they may use it only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Unsubscribe, access or delete

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also email peauprivee@gmail.com at any time to unsubscribe, to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We’ll respond within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while the waitlist and launch communications are running, and delete it when you unsubscribe or ask us to, or when we no longer need it.

Questions or complaints

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please email us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we update this policy we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
